Blind Sailing Canada approached me with the task of redesigning their website to better serve both sighted and visually impaired users. The original site had several challenges, including poor accessibility, outdated content, and a lack of clear navigation. Additionally, the Blind Sailing Canada Board needed a simpler way to maintain and update the site without requiring deep technical expertise. The objective was to create a modern, accessible, and user-friendly website that addressed these issues while complying with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
